Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about partnering with EverSettled.

Is EverSettled really free for hospice and hospital patients?

Yes, 100%. Hospice or hospital patients and your organization never pay anything. We only charge families after a patient passes, and only if they choose to use our full estate settlement platform. That fee ($199) is charged against the estate — not out of pocket.

Is this a will creation tool?

No. EverSettled is not a will creation platform. We are a secure digital vault and organization tool. Patients should create their will with an attorney or legal service, and then upload it to EverSettled for safekeeping and easy family access.

How does the family access the information after the patient passes?

During setup, patients designate trusted family members who will receive access. When the time comes, those family members can log in and see all organized documents, account details, instructions, and the estate settlement checklist — pre-filled with information the patient already provided.

What kind of documents can patients store?

Any document that would help their family: wills, trusts, insurance policies, bank account details, property deeds, vehicle titles, passwords, personal letters, funeral preferences, and more. Documents are encrypted in transit and at rest and stored with vetted cloud providers.

Does our hospice or hospital need to do anything technical?

No. We handle everything. Your social workers, care coordinators, or case managers simply introduce EverSettled to interested patients and families. We provide informational materials, and patients sign up on their own (or with family help). No IT integration required.

How is this different from giving patients a paper binder?

Paper binders can be lost, damaged, or incomplete. EverSettled is cloud-based, encrypted, and accessible from anywhere. It also includes a guided checklist that tells patients exactly what to organize, and it seamlessly transitions into a full estate settlement platform for the family.

Is the data secure and private?

Absolutely. Data and documents are encrypted in transit and at rest and hosted with vetted cloud providers. Patient information is never shared or sold and is only used to help organize their estate.

How does this benefit our hospice or hospital organization?

Offering EverSettled enhances the value of your care services. It shows patients and families that you go above and beyond — not just for medical care, but for peace of mind. It also reduces the burden on care teams who often field estate-related questions they can't fully answer.

Give patients and families a settled estate.

Partner with EverSettled and offer hospice or hospital patients a free, secure way to organize their affairs — so their family can grieve without the chaos.

No cost to your organization. No technical integration needed. Just better care for your patients and families.
